Portland Baseball is…
Baseball In ’27 is a multimedia campaign supporting Portland’s long-standing dream of becoming a Major League Baseball city—not just in theory, but in spirit. It’s a rallying cry for Portlanders who already believe in baseball as a part of our civic identity. Whether you’re a diehard Pickles or Hops fan, or just someone who wants to see Portland shine on the national stage, this is for you.
...locally made.

Portland Baseball is…
Whether it’s a Pedalpalooza cruise or your daily ride down the greenway, we’re building a fan culture that rolls deep — and car-free. Portland’s future stadium district should be made for bikes, not backed-up traffic. Baseball in ’27 is all about building a future that's free, crowd-powered, and community-led.
…bike rides and ballgames.

Portland Baseball is…
This city doesn’t wait for perfect conditions. It plays through. From muddy fields to misty first pitches, Portland baseball fans don’t flinch. We’ve been showing up — with layers, clever signs, and ready to raise chairs — long before expansion talks made headlines. Whether we remember the Mavericks lighting up Civic Stadium or we're creating someone's first memories at a Pickles Game, we bring the energy.
...rain or shine.

Portland Baseball is…
We love a game that moves fast and a meal that takes its time. Baseball in Portland isn’t just a sport — it’s an excuse to gather, eat well, and linger awhile. From food carts and fry baskets to kimchi dogs and cold brews, this campaign celebrates the flavors that fuel our fandom.
…fastballs and slow food.

Portland Baseball is…
Some of us don’t just watch — we connect. We dig into the stories, the stats, the ballparks and the history. We learn the rhythms and rituals. We find meaning beyond the score.
For me, that’s what this is. Baseball in ’27 isn’t just about getting a team — it’s about deepening our relationship with the game, this city, and each other. It’s about building something that grows with us.
...a relationship.

About Me
I’m Brendan Crowe — a storyteller, DJ, and 10-year Portland resident who’s never been content to just watch from the sidelines. After rediscovering my love for baseball in 2023, the game quickly became a new kind of deep dive: one rooted in memory, movement, and community.
Growing up near D.C., I watched Cal Ripken chase records and shared Nationals games with my grandmother. Now, I bring that same passion to Portland, where I believe baseball can be more than entertainment — it can be a catalyst for connection, creativity, and civic pride.
Baseball in ’27 is my way of helping plant the game in a city that’s ready to catch it.
